“As you get older, you will find that you become more disappointed by the things you didn’t attempt than by the ones you tried and failed to achieve. And here’s the best news. Every step of the way there’s something to learn. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called life. In it, there are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial and error, experimentation and improvement. The failed experiments are as much of that process as the ones that work.”

These lessons are ones we learn in leadership on a daily basis. We have the opportunity to take our experiences, trials and failures and turn them into opportunities, positive events and moments of growth. In addition to that, we must seek out lessons to be learned. When doors open, we must walk through them. In the upcoming month, we’ll be offering a FREE event to hear teachings from John Maxwell on these concepts.

We’re offering an exclusive free webcast debuting John Maxwell’s new book, Sometimes You Win Sometimes You Learn on Thursday, October 10 at 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. EDT. John will show how life’s greatest lessons can be gained from our losses if we approach them the right way. Once we start to see losing differently, we overcome fear that restricts our growth.

The event includes approximately one full hour of John teaching from his new book along with interviews with money expert, Dave Ramsey, and Life Without Limbs founder, Nick Vujicic.

Dave Ramsey is a personal money management expert, a popular national radio personality and best-selling author of The Total Money Makeover. In his latest book, a follow-up of his enormously successful New York Times best-sellers Financial Peace and More Than Enough, Ramsey exemplifies his life’s work of teaching others how to be financially responsible so they can acquire enough wealth to take care of loved ones, live prosperously into old age, and give generously to others.

Nick Vujicic is a dynamic young speaker that has lived 30 years without any arms or legs. Three sonograms and no medical warnings failed to reveal complications. And yet, the Vujicic family was destined to cope with both the challenge and blessing of raising a son who refused to allow his physical condition to limit his lifestyle. Since his first speaking engagement at age 19, Nick has traveled around the world, sharing his story with millions, sometimes in stadiums filled to capacity, speaking to a range of diverse groups such as students, teachers, young people, business professionals, and church congregations of all sizes. He is currently the president of a non-profit called Life Without Limbs, which he started in 2005

Overall, our free Sometimes You Win, Sometimes You Learn webcast is a great opportunity to hear John share some life-changing principles so you can face challenges better with a “learning” mindset! From this webcast, you’ll learn about the importance of evaluating your failures and turning them around, so you can start stepping into success.
